Over at the New York Times, a columnist asks How can Trump opponents take on people who will stop at nothing? Answering his own rhetorical question, sort of, he sort of hints that it’s time for progressives to start vigorously exercising their sacred Second Amendment rights.
And, writing in the New York Review of Books, Joseph O’Neill rends his garments, explaining, in excruciating detail and and at very great length, how the Democratic Party is going to hell in a handbasket. Mr. O’Neill turns out to be Distinguished Visiting Professor of Written Arts at Bard College, a specialist in Irish and Celtic Studies, and the author of several novels. He was, I take it, paid by the word for his article.
