As far as I can tell, the biggest story of the week—maybe the biggest story of the year—is Trump’s order to declassify FISA documents despite, or maybe because of, their potential to lend aid and comfort to the enemy by revealing intelligence sources and methods. And the potential civil disobedience of this order by the national security establishment, led by Trump appointees.
Either one side or the other will back down, or neither will back down, which currently seems to me like the most likely outcome.
