“Tonight’s results show we are at risk of a #BlueWave in WI,” Walker tweeted Tuesday night. “The Far Left is driven by anger & hatred — we must counter it with optimism & organization. Let’s share our positive story with voters & win in November,”
Scott Walker whinged. And why is Scott Walker, Wisconsin’s wingnut governor, whingeing this morning?
Well, ladies and germs, Walker the Snowflake is whingeing because lots of Democrats turned out and lots of Republicans stayed home in a special election for a spot on the state supreme court.
Both candidates spent a lot of money. The Republican candidate proudly proclaimed his endorsement by the National Rifle Association. He got 44 percent of the vote.
The Democrat accused Trump of attacking “our civil rights and our values.” (Pretty much sums it up, doesn’t it?) She got 56 percent.
It was the first time since 1995 that a Wisconsin Democrat has won an open state supreme court seat.
